RMB DK & RHB22SOUND – A musical journey through time

The start of a dream

In 1965, four young men from Bredebro and the surrounding area, Bjarne Debel, Benny Schmidt, Ejnar Truelsen and Per Callesen, gathered to create music together. Under the name "SPOTLIGHT" they debuted in 1966 at the Emmerlev Klev Strandhotel, and thus the foundation stone was laid for a long and exciting musical journey.

Breakup and reunion

Life and education took their toll, and in the mid-70s the band had to say goodbye to Ejnar and Bjarne. Jørn Hansen and Laust Borg joined, but in 1979 an end was put to the music.
Around 2010, the old flame was rekindled when Bjarne, Benny, Ejnar and Per reunited with the aim of enjoying the music and the friendship. At the same time, the foundations were laid for a home studio where the band could practice and record.

New chapters and challenges

2012 marked a turning point for the band. Jørn became part of the crew and contributed the lyrics to "Rusty Minds", which later became the inspiration for our new name "RMB DK". At the same time, we had to say goodbye to Bjarne. In 2016, both Benny and Ejnar decided to pursue other musical paths, resulting in a smaller crew.
The Corona pandemic put a temporary stop to music in 2020, but the band reunited in 2022.
At the same time, Bjarne returned with his guitar and vocals, and the band resumed their weekly meetings.

RMB DK today

Today, "RMB DK" is a project run by Per, with support from Bjarne. The band meets regularly to play music and be together.

RHB22SOUND – More than just a studio

In addition to being a band, Per has also established the sound studio "RHB22SOUND", where he helps both local and international musicians with recordings and production.
